“From the beginning of time humans have asked,  ‘who is running the show?’ From the beginning, people have sought answers and answers have been forthcoming. Not everyone appreciates the answers, nor do all agree. Some think it is determined from outside.

That luck, god, nature or the universe determines what comes your way. Perhaps, they are correct. It could be possible. What isn’t answered, or addressed, in this query is, what part do you play? Do you have a role in making things happen?  If so, how much of a role?

Some will say 100%. Some give a variety of other answers. One thing is certain. Whether you, or someone else creates your circumstances, whether you react, or respond, IS 100% up to you. How you negotiate, navigate and weather circumstances is all you.

Perception Is Everything – Perception Makes It So 

Given that your response determines what you do with what you have been presented, I share this thought with you. James Allen authored a very wonderful book titled. ‘As A Man Thinketh’. It is worth reading if you haven’t. It is worth reading again and again.

James Allen, reminds us that our minds are like a garden  which we can wisely and intelligently cultivate, or allow to run wild. It brings forth either way. Seeds grow. Results come forth. Some things will happen. Nothing, will not happen. The garden will grow!

Our minds grow whatever seeds are planted. Plant a positive seed, and that will grow. Plant a negative one, and that will grow. The mind is the growing medium and doesn’t care which type of seed is planted. How you respond to circumstances is your responsibility.

What You Say To Yourself And Others Is What You Manifest

If you respond positively, you have the opportunity to influence circumstances or adjust yourself as need be. You can overcome all sorts of difficulty, if you believe you can. You get back more of whatever you focus on . It expands. ‘I can’, expands as does, ‘I can’t.’

Whether you create all of your circumstances or something else does, you alone are accountable, and responsible, for what you end up doing as a result. All of the power is in you. If you make excuses, whine, complain and blame others you miss the power. You lose.

You won’t notice you have power because you distract yourself by placing the emphasis elsewhere. Energy flows where attention goes. We become what we think about. Champion or loser, victor or victim? It is all in what you think, and what you focus on, most often.

The choice is always yours. Don’t ask who is responsible for circumstances, but how quickly, and easily, you can discover your resources, and be a victor no matter what comes your way. Ask yourself how easily you can be positive. Focus on what you want.

Place your focus on the positive and you become more of it. When you choose to consider everything a blessing, everything becomes one, even if it doesn’t appear that way at first. Learn how to celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes
