“Some people are reluctant to give or help another because they may get scammed. The person may be faking it. They may not really be in need. Have you ever thought this? ‘I might get scammed.’ It doesn’t matter if you are scammed if you freely give. Get it?
I understand and can appreciate your caution, however a good samaritan is a good samaritan even if the recipient is not. The act of kindness is not lost, even if it’s to a scammer who benefits. Goodness knows no limits. Those who abuse it, well, so be it. Give to give!
Still, one act of genuine kindness may help transform the scammer of their ways, but it may not. It shouldn’t be up to us to decide how the other person responds. That isn’t in our control. We ought not have control issues over the other person’s use of our gift. Give to give!
We each have to decide how we want to demonstrate compassion. There are no rules really, other than the admonition to ‘love one another as I have loved you.’ How you wish to express that love is up to you. Though there is that admonition as an example. Let you heart guide you, BUT make sure you actually listen to your heart and not your head. Give to give. Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

I have been scammed when trying to help another but it still resulted in blessing me fantastically. I was totally taken in by a scammer but because I was sincerely trying to help them and therefore was blessed beyond my wildest imagination. It was worth every minute trying to help the scammer, I would do it again. The payback for sincerely trying to help the fake was worth a trillion dollars to me personally! There is no way I can ever repay this scammer for the gift he gave me without knowing it!
