“Do you know how to destress and relax when you feel stressed or overwhelmed? Do you ever feel the need to get away? Would you like to take a break and just let go. Could you do that? Would you? It is important to rest and nourish ourselves by letting go.
Here are some simple ways to relax, let go and replenish your energy? Let go and simplify for as much time you can. Even a little bit helps and is better than nothing. Get outside of the box. Go outside. Enjoy the fresh air. Get some sunshine. Or sit outside near the rain.
Get away from artificial light, electronics and the ambient noise that is constant. We don’t consciously notice it but it persists and adds to our stress. Cut the cord! If only for a bit. Let go of the Internet and electricity and go natural for a time. Take it easy. Take it slowly.
If You Do Nothing – Nothing Changes – Make The Change
If you can’t get a weekend away, or some significant time to chill at least take a little time each day to unwind and feel better. Take some time today. Enjoy yourself before this day ends. Sit outdoors. Lie back on the lawn, or sit under a tree. Hang out on the porch.
Enjoy the backyard. Connect with the earth. If you can, go somewhere quiet and peaceful away from city. Have a beverage you enjoy. Let go, unwind. Sit peacefully. It is wonderful. Do nothing. Just recharge. Simply sit and listen. Enjoy the breeze. Enjoy stillness.
Enjoy the sounds AND breathe. Feel how good it feels to be quiet in nature with life all around you. Watch, listen or simply close your eyes and be. Pay attention to your senses. Notice, witness. Watch clouds move in the sky. Listen to the leaves in the breeze.
Change Your Thoughts Today And Transform Your Life Forever
Do nothing. Go for a barefoot walk. Feel how good that feels. Feel the earth, the grass, the sun, the fresh air. Look far off into the distance for awhile. Look to the horizon as you walk. Enjoy the sun and warmth on your skin. Listen to the sounds of nature.
Get away for a bit. Sit by the ocean, a lake, river or stream. Do less today. Stress less. Stay calm. Enjoy feeling peace. Listen more, talk less. Don’t get baited into arguments or gossip, let them go. If you speak, when you speak, speak only to bless, heal and prosper.
Smile more. Laugh more. Celebrate more. Skip, hum, sing, sway, dance. Move your body in relaxing comfort. Let go. Make today about gentle replenishing. Imagine feeling positive whereever you go and whatever you do. Be gentle, Be kind.
You Really Can Change Your Thoughts And Transform Your Life
Be compassionate with yourself and others. Ease your way through the world. Walk instead of drive. Look, listen, feel, smell and taste today. Delight! Relax. Take a bath, a steam, a sauna. Get a massage. Meditate. Flow. Read some inspirational material. Reflect.
Shut off the electronics. Get away from them. Turn off the cell, the computer, the TV for awhile. Eat some wonderfully well prepared healthy food. No microwaves, nothing fast. Dine leisurely. Savor it. Spend time in gratitude. Count your blessings prior to drifting off.
Allow your thoughts and feelings and actions today to be the finest. Sleep in a totally dark room. No light, no alarm light, nothing. Complete darkness. Rest. Get some good sleep. Awaken refreshed. Live, love, laugh, delight. Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

“Rex’s understanding of how the mind works and mindset is second to none. He wrote a book called Life On Your Terms. It’s a newer book. He jumps around a lot in the book with mindset topics; creating the life you want and developing a champion mindset. He’s really good. You can’t read this book and not think better, not think more productively, not think more efficiently, and not think with a lot more directed happiness in your life because he shows you how to do it in the book.
