“It’s okay to feel sad sometimes. It is important to grieve when life takes a turn and you lose someone important to you. There are reasons we feel down at times. Sometimes we sleep sometimes we are awake. Everything has a season and a purpose.
It’s okay and you can accept it. Don’t judge yourself. Don’t make it worse by blaming yourself, others or circumstances. Accept that it is nighttime and sometime soon it will again be day. Release and let go. Take time to grieve. It is a valid human emotion. Allow yourself.
There is also the time to get up and get on. It’s important to know and understand and make room for both. Be sensitive and be wise. Life is about enjoying and delighting as much as possible. It’s about celebrating good things and making moments special.
Change Your Thoughts And You Transform Your Life
It is about allowing and about creating. It is about making it what you want it to be and not about letting it happen to you or pass you by. So when it is appropriate, when the time is right, make it what you want it to be. Do something! Do anything! Just don’t sit there.
Don’t wallow. Getting up and getting out makes a difference. It’s difficult to feel bad when you are moving energetically. It’s difficult to feel bad when you are busy and engaged with other things. It’s tough to feel bad when your focus is on helping others feel better.
When your thoughts and your energy is directed in a positive way you benefit from it. When you are active and moving, when you use your body and mind productively it is difficult to feel down. Ot is easy to remain stuck if you’re idle and you don’t move.
Change Your Thoughts And You Transform Your Life
When you don’t change or move your body it’s easier to remain stuck. So get up, move, get out, do something, do anything! Try walking, hiking, skipping, dancing, running, or rolling down a hill as a little kid would. Moving your body changes your energy. Try it.
If you are willing to try new things there is always a way out of the gloom. Know this. There’s a time it’s okay to be sad. There is a time when it’s okay for sadness to give way to happiness. There are seasons so to speak. Wisdom knows the difference. Learn this. Transform yourself. Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes
