“Someone recently posted Mark 10:25. “It is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for one who is rich to enter the kingdom of God…. (v27)… All things are possible for God.” Many use this verse to suggest riches aren’t of God or are somehow bad.
The verse never said it was impossible for rich people to get into heaven but it was easier for a camel to get down on its knees and crawl through the gate known as “the needle.” Hence, the reference of camel and needle. Some erroneously think sewing needle. Nope!
Then 2 verses later the scripture adds “with god all things are possible.” Therefore, it is indeed possible for the rich person. I wonder, why make an issue of it if god does not? The difficulty isn’t being rich. It is the attachment to riches that is the issue.

1 Timothy 6:10 It isn’t money but ‘the love of money’ the scripture says. Read on, ‘which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.’ It’s coveting! You aren’t supposed to covet another’s spouse either.
Many rich people are happy. Many rich people are not happy. This demonstrates that happiness has little, if anything, to do with riches. It is better to be happy and rich one could assume than unhappy but rich. It’s better to be happy and poor than unhappy and poor.
Happiness is your birthright. It comes from within. What money can purchase does not buy happiness. Perhaps, one momentarily feels better but only until the shine wears off. My point above was of course that it is possible for the rich too to get into heaven. Get it?

What you are already is amplified by money and other things. one can be happy deeply within and without YET without any real material goods or in spite of any and all circumstances. They know happiness is a choice and it is from within to without.
Others may be exceptionally rich with money and miserable – poor in family and friends, lacking self-esteem and confidence. Some have all manner of outer wealth symbols but can’t find their goodness within. ANYTHING is possible – depends on who you are.
You should never chase happiness, wealth or success. Be it and you will do what is necessary to have those things and circumstances to enjoy. The other way around doesn’t work. Stop putting the cart before the horse. We transform by the renewing of our mind.

Don’t covet. Don’t be attached to things. Don’t love things. Love people. Love God. Love Yourself. BUT not things. Don’t put things over all the rest. That attachment to giving up things is what prevents people, not being able to afford them. You deserve wealth.
