“A while ago I shared my Father Terry story, the Irish priest I ran into in Santa Monica a few weeks after we parted ways in the Midwest. Around the same time I shared that story a gentleman who studied with me when Father Terry was in the program suddenly reached out an contacted me 35 years later. Today, something amazing also happened. Let me share another. I have so many.

I wanted to go to the gym earlier in the day, yesterday, but couldn’t get there for a variety of reasons. When at last, I was about to leave I got a phone call and stayed to address issues the caller called to work through. After we hung up I realized I had about an hour to get to gym and back before I had to be part of on online program. I rushed to gym to for a sauna and shower.

I’d not have time to do anything else. I showered. Entered the sauna. Relaxed. A couple of other guys came in. Then the door opened and this gentleman walked in said hello to one of the other guys looked at me and said, ‘You’re Rex!’ I said, yes’. He was thrilled, beside himself, and made the others aware that I was Rex and online, hosting shows and doing workshops and events.

Then he said, ‘I did a bunch of your workshops in the 90s.’ Beginning about 95. We talked and he went on and on about my shows, training programs and more. It was very flattering and complimentary. BUT here is the thing. I didn’t recognize him but remembered his name when he said Tony. On top of it, had I gone to the gym any other time today, we’d have missed each other.

I asked if this was his normal time to be there? He said it was not. It was the only time he could get there. The same was true for me. So, it’s a fortuitous meeting. Two people who hadn’t seen each other in person in 30 plus years, met at a time and in place they wouldn’t have normally been at when they met. Synchronicity. Happenstance. Serendipity. Coincidence. It’s all good.

Whatever its call, all the decisions, delays, happenings and connections that had to be made between the two of us and others to end up in the same sauna at the same time is fascinating. Then, he recognized me from 35 years ago and from current media. He’s a former student who still follows my work. That’ why I love life so much. BTW, this share is about abundance!

Amazing things are always happening. How fun and delightful. Every moment is magical or can be if you’re open to it. Life is a mystery, not to be solved but enjoyed. Seek to open, available and prepared to be amazed. When you’ve an attitude of awe, you discover more to be awed about. Be open and available to moments like this and you’ll have more and more of them. There’s plenty of reason to celebrate everything. Minor and major miracles happen everyday.
