“Continued from my recent blog. Use negativity as a tool for transformation. Declare what you want out loud, in writing, or to yourself in any way that makes it feel real. That’s where your power is. Turn ‘I can’t’ into ‘I can, and I will.’ Use positive affirmations to cement this new focus in your mind. By repeatedly affirming what you want, you’re training your brain to seek opportunities instead of obstacles. Learn to train your brain to work for you!
Each time you state what you want, you’re moving your mind and spirit closer to achieving it. Let each declaration serve as a building block toward your vision. Let’s say you’re feeling overwhelmed by a project. Instead of dwelling on the obstacles, reframe it: ‘This project is a steppingstone for my growth and success.’ And this new focus pulls you out of negativity and moves you into positive power. It helps you go from victim to victor.
Treat every negative thought as feedback. Just like a GPS, it’s showing you when you’re heading off course. Don’t dwell on it. Instead, use it as a guide, a nudge to redirect your focus toward what truly matters to you. Ask, “Is this thought moving me toward or away from my goal?” Create a daily practice. Make it a habit to check in with your thoughts regularly. Set aside a few minutes each day to notice where your mind is. Become aware. Notice.
