“Challenges bring out the best and worst. Much of these aggravating behaviors began on schoolyards long ago. It’s no different in ‘adult life’. When troubles come you can expect looters and predators along with selfless, loving unconditional helpers. Both surface.
You can expect opinions and judgements from accurately well-informed people, as well as misinformed and uninformed people but the reality is, there are more better weather days than bad days. There are more good people than not good. Remember this.
When disaster hits a town or the towers people rush to help selflessly. Some died giving aid. Always remember this. Most people care. We’re not all selfish, greedy criminals and predators. There’s so much good to be grateful for but you’ll miss it if not focused on it.
Celebrate the good. Ignore the opinions of those who whine and complain and rain on the parade. Strive to make less than glorious conditions better for everyone, not just a few. Uplift and inspire. Motivate and encourage. Walk the talk. Help each other out. Act on behalf of everyone. Make a difference for all. Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes
