“Keep the recipe in mind. Use the formula I’ve provided in these blogs. Imagine yourself as the person you want to be, feeling, acting, and having everything you desire as if it has already come true. This is crucial because if you visualize your goals as distant, they will always remain out of reach. ‘Someday’ never arrives. Instead, embrace the emotions as if it’s happening now. Your subconscious mind works to make it real when you fully feel and experience it right now.

Since it’s impossible to predict every detail of how your dreams will unfold, I like to add the simple phrase when visualizing: ‘This or something better.’ This allows for the possibility of being happily surprised by even better outcomes than you imagine. By playing this mental movie, combined with strong, positive feelings, you send a powerful message to your subconscious. Your subconscious receives the signal and begins working on it.

When you change your self-image, your habits change. Your subconscious receives the signal and begins working on it to bring this vision you’ve created to life. By intentionally visualizing your ideal self, with intense positive emotions, over time you begin to become that person. Your behaviors and habits naturally align with your new self-image. The more you repeat this process, the more it embeds in your subconscious. This is how transformation happens.

As your inner image shifts, your self-talk also improves. You begin to speak to yourself kindly, motivating yourself with empowering thoughts. Instead of thinking, ‘I can’t,’ you embrace the belief that ‘I can learn anything.’ You become a ‘can-do’ person. Once you change your inner self, you realize you can change anything outside of yourself as well. This is why it’s so important to use your self-talk wisely and speak only words that bless, heal, and inspire and uplift.

Stop blaming yourself or making excuses. Instead, focus on building yourself up. When your inner world shifts, you’ll notice opportunities you may have overlooked before. Suddenly, new possibilities open, and you start connecting the dots in ways you couldn’t before. These mental shifts literally rewire your brain, creating new neural pathways, and helping you evolve into a better version of yourself. Your self-image is the blueprint for your life.

If your inner world is full of doubt, fear, or scarcity, your outer world will reflect that. If your inner world is impoverished, your results will be too. It often takes a wake-up call, a moment where you feel completely fed up with your current situation, to initiate real change. Hardship and problems are those wake-up calls. They are opportunities for you to notice your outer world reflects your inner world. If we want life to be different, we must become different.

Life’s challenges force us into the realization that something must change. Whether it’s a personal crisis, a sudden upheaval, or just the recognition that things aren’t working the way you want, it often pushes us to act. ‘As within, so without’ applieshere. If your outer circumstances aren’t what you want, start by changing your inner world. Adjust your inner vision, and you’ll begin to see the world around you transform. Remember GIGO!

As you evolve internally, the outer world conforms to match your new self-image. Garbage In Garbage Out can become Good In Good Out. How? First, from within shift to focus on the good, the lovely, the positive, the pure. Focus on love, peace and all good. Self-image and habits are closely linked. When you change your self-image, your behaviors automatically shift to align with the new you. Over time, these new behaviors become ingrained.

You form new positive habits. This, in turn, reinforces your self-image. It’s a positive feedback loop: the more you practice new positive thought and feeling habits, the more confident and capable you become, which further strengthens your belief in yourself. If you don’t see yourself as happy, successful, or wealthy, it’s unlikely that you’ll ever develop the behaviors necessary to achieve those things. That’s bad news. But remember, there’s good news

In fact, there’s great news. When you do start to see yourself happy, wealthy, successful in your imagination and you feel it, believe it, and live it, your actions will naturally follow. You’ll begin to act in ways that attract happiness, health, and success into your life. ‘As within, so without; as above, so below.’ Change the inside and the outside changes. This is how true transformation occurs: by changing your inner reality, you bring about outer change.

Thought leaders like Maxwell Maltz, Napoleon Hill, Wallace Wattles, others and I have all emphasized this same principle: YOU have the power to make your life what you want it to be. No one else can do it for you. You may have adopted beliefs or formed a self-image from your upbringing, from other people, or from your past experiences, but you don’t have to keep them. They brought you to where you are today, but you can choose to change them.

The choice is yours. Only you can improve your self-image. Only you can make your mind, your thoughts, and your imagination work for you. You can put an end to the limitations and learn to live freely. Take charge of your life today. It’s time to upgrade your internal programming and get your mind working for you instead of against you. It’s time to discover and become thrilled with all the good things life has to offer. Stop missing and start enjoying. Live larger.
