“You hear people speak of taking ‘massive action’. If you want to be successful take massive action! This is wrong. While it is important to push beyond boundaries, massive action is not required for change and often does not work as prescribed. I’ll explain.
You want to do the little things daily that add up to success. You want to develop the habit of winning and feeling good and accomplishment that keep you moving forward! You could take massive action and crash and burn. Then what? Will you do it again?
Most likely not. Consider this. It is far easier to prune your plants bit by bit a little at a time as they grow than do massive pruning once or twice a year. It is easier. You expend far less energy, time and potentially money. Massive action can work, but rarely does.
What We Hope To Do With Ease We First Must Do With Diligence
Get it? If you have to have sudden bursts of massive energy to accomplish something, how often will you? It’s far easier and more successful to begin with light weight dumbbells than to try to hoist hundreds of pounds one time. Correct repetition results in fitness.
Lifting lots of weight infrequently doesn’t do as much as lifting light weights more regularly. It is easier to keep your house together by straightening up daily, or weekly, than a massive cleaning once a year. You brush your teeth daily to maintain your health, don’t you?
Taking care of business and your life is the same. Step by step, bit by bit, you get closer and closer. Make each step easy enough and enjoyable enough to do and you will win each time you accomplish making the step. Get it? Win your way to success is my way of doing things!
