“Some people are having difficulty with current events. Some are troubled by shelter at home, wearing masks and social distancing. I’d like to remind you of a few points that might make a difference for anyone having some upset with current circumstances.
From chaos stars are born. The earth is going through birth pangs. Adversity contains within it the seed of opportunity. While that in itself may not seem like much help it can be if you adjust your thinking and your focus. We get what we focus on.
If you focus on how things hurt, you get more of it back. If not in actual events in how you feel. You can’t go uphill thinking downhill thoughts. It is up to us to grow the seeds of opportunity into positive new wonderful changes for all. Again, it is up to you and me.
The Kite Rises Highest Against The Wind
There is nothing wrong with birth pangs. It’s part of the process. There’s nothing wrong with problems when we learn from them. We grow stronger. Stop Perpetuating the problems. Take the lessons and grow wiser, smarter and make positive changes.
It wasn’t that long ago that settlers faced incredible hardship to move from the East to the West side of the U.S. Caravans or wagon trains of settlers endured great hardship to find promise 1000s of miles away. We should be able to watch TV at home, right?
It is what we make of it. Perhaps, we have gotten a little bit too soft. We’ve been too coddled and are a bit too wimpy. Troubles make us stronger just as weights or resistance training grows our muscles. We adjust and continue. We persevere. Find that pioneer spirit!
Adjust And Continue But Remember You Have A Backbone
Perhaps, we needed this ‘housecleaning’ or ‘energy clearing’ to get back on track. Maybe, we need some chaos and adversity to re-discover ourselves, our strengths and our resources again. Everything is a blessing when you consider everything a blessing. Get it? Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes
