“Whatever preoccupies your thinking runs the show. If you’re consumed with money issues, romance issues, health issues, whatever you give most of your daily thinking to is where you stay stuck. If you are focused on problems and lack you create more.

It took me years to realize I thought about money day and night. I worried there wouldn’t be enough even when I had enough. I’d watch my bank account dwindle, even when I was plush, and think I’d never weather tough times. I was preoccupied. Consumed.

When injured or ill, I’d think about how sore or sick I was. I’d imagine the worst. As a result my health deteriorated and I felt worse. Healing seemed to take forever. It wasn’t until I declared myself healthy that I began to experience better health and fitness.

You Become What You Think About – What You Focus On Expands

I could list other ways I thought negative and experienced troubles. Money always seemed tough to come by as long as I thought it was tough to come by. My mindset was one of lack. I did the same thing when relationships ended. I thought I’d never find love again.

When we think the same things over and over, in one or more areas of our life, we give ourselves little chance to make things different. We are on a metal hamster wheel. We are busy thinking but not getting anywhere. We need to change our thoughts to change!

I share this important quote. It is a life changer when you take it to heart and apply it rigorously in your life. ‘If we command our wealth we shall be rich and free; if our wealth commands us, we are poor indeed.’ – Edmund Burke. Do you get it? It took some time for me to get it.

You Are Always Right Where Your Thinking Has Brought You

My lack, my poor health, my loneliness ran the show. It commanded me. I thought from the downside. In order to change anything and everything I had to take charge of my thinking, and command my health, wealth, love and happiness. THEN things began to change.

It is simple, not always easy. It isn’t necessarily hard but it does require commitment to redirect old thought patterns into new ones. It requires thinking the new way, repeatedly, consistently for long enough to wire in the new thoughts to become reliable habit.

You’ll be amazed how quickly you can begin to change when you take control and command your thinking, feeling and behaviors in the areas of your life. When you are in charge positively you begin to get positive, powerful results. Until then, you may remain stuck.

If You Want Your Life To Change You Have To Change Some Things

Few people change until they have to. That is a sad fact. We wait until we bottom out before we seek help or make changes. If you want your life to change you must change things in your life. You can’t do and be the same way daily and expect things to be different.
