“We have the ability to manage our thoughts. We can choose what we want to think about. Positive thinking is making a deliberate choice about what you will think instead of letting an old habit control you. You choose. You choose the best thoughts and images and self-talk until these become a new positive, powerful habit. Why do this? Because habits are automatic and reliable. Instead of going automatically negative you learn to go positive.
Positive thinking is optimistic because it’s been proven that optimistic, positive thinking is healthier in every way for you than negative or ‘ordinary thinking.’ It’s healthier for your mind, emotions and body. Positive thinking is realistic. Instead of being ‘woo woo’ it helps you understand if there is a roadblock or detour you can still navigate to your destination instead of giving up. The healthier and optimistic you are the better you function.
The better you function, or the more well-being, the more available you are to positive incoming stimulation, possibilities and opportunities. The better decisions you can make. Said another way. The better you think, the better you feel. The better you feel in health and in emotional well-being, the better you think, decide, speak and behave. You are simply capable of so much more when your mind, body, emotions are not depressed.
Your Attitude Determines What You Think, Feel, Say, Do And The Results You Can Get!
Keep focused on positive thoughts, Directed Questions™ and affirmations. Keep your self-talk and mental images positive. When you do, your immune system works better. Everything works better. You do want this, don’t you? Whenever you notice yourself thinking less-than-positive thoughts, stop. Pause and shift or return to thinking positive. Train your brain to do what you want it to do! This is important. You MUST consciously train your brain.
That means YOU take charge. You deliberately recondition and train your brain and mind to serve you. You are not to serve it. Your brain should be your servant. The purpose of learning to do this is to put you back into the driver’s seat so you can decide where you want to go and actually get there! When you notice new things, own your observations and awarenesses. Stop criticizing and negative self-talk. Keep choosing positivity. Think positive.
INSTEAD of criticizing yourself when you think negatively validate yourself for your positive insights and awareness. Learn from these. Validate yourself as you succeed in these exercises. Keep at it. Keep playing with new ways of being and doing. STOP the negative. PROMOTE the positive. Remember, starve the negative and it will wither. Feed the positive and it will grow. As you do this you’ll fall more in love with yourself and with life. You vibe higher. As a result, you make more good come your way AND you attract it as well. Get it?
