“Anticipating going through something, is often worse than actually going through it. Fear makes everything worse! What you focus on before, and during it, can make it more difficult or can make it better. What you focus on expands! You may have had this experience.

‘Wait until your father gets home!’ were words that could inspire terror. The fear of being punished was often was worse than the punishment. Anticipating the worst was far worse than what actually followed. If you’ve noticed this you’re fortunate.

If you think you won’t survive something it is more difficult. Some people fear bankruptcy ONLY to learn, it’s not that bad. Prior to going it they thought they’d rather be dead. Fortunately for them they stayed alive and learned you can be bankrupt and live well.

Today – You Are Where Your Thoughts Brought You

If you’re certain you’ ll get through it, it may not be any less difficult, but you go through it differently than if you’re afraid or doubt you’ll survive. Only after, looking back, can you see how the dots connected and what you can learn from it. Use it to learn a lesson.

People fear the unknown. Yet, everything is unknown! Still, we attempt to hedge all bets. We really can’t. We can spend time attempting to minimize risk, not a bad thing, but we may still encounter what we hope to avoid. Better to become resilient.

It is better to live optimistically, happily and resiliently. Enjoy life! What will be, will be. You may not be able to prevent it. So, learn to go with the flow. Learn to learn from what’s going on and to adjust and continue. Learn you can make it through the toughest of times.

Tomorrow – You Will Go Where Your Thoughts Take You

Decide you will. Then follow through. Learn you are capable and competent. Learn what you need to learn to succeed. Make changes that make you better! Remember, you get what you focus on. Where you put your attention makes the difference. Manage your mindset.

Choose who you are, what you are capable of, and what you can have now and in your future. You’re either a champion, or not. You’re either a victor, or not. Determine what you want for yourself and make it happen. Decide whether you are worth it or not.

Choose dog crap or diamonds? That IS the choice you have. Either you increase or decrease. Either you are positive or negative. Either you move forward or you don’t. The more you succeed the more success is possible. What kind of person are you? What kind of person will you be? Decide now! Choose wisely and celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes
