“When you increase your awareness  you make room for change. Congratulate yourself for noticing. Appreciate you new awareness. Pat yourself on the back. No, really pat yourself on the back. Acknowledge your new awareness with a physical ‘good going!’

Do the same when you notice any habitual thought or behavior. Become conscious of it. Deliberately attempt to get in front of it to change it. This means notice the awareness and congratulate. Notice you have a choice and congratulate yourself. Then make the choice.

Whatever you choose congratulate yourself for noticing and choosing. If you made the ‘wrong’ choice know that you did the best you could at that time and congratulate yourself. If you make the ‘right’ choice do the same. Why do you do this? To nurture yourself.

Change Your Thoughts And You Transform Your Life

The more you nurture the ability to become aware of something you weren’t aware of and then choose and then act to change it the more this becomes likely in the future. If you criticize yourself you hamper your abilities, Get it? Treat yourself like a toddler beginning to walk.

If you want your life to change you must change some things you are doing. When you ‘catch yourself’ and then choose to direct the energy differently you are initiating change. You are  beginning to create new patterns or habits. This is an exciting time. Flow with it.

Stay open and positive. Be optimistic. Notice what you are doing that wasn’t working and when you begin to go into the thought, feeling or behavior. Then STOP, interrupt the pattern. Take a deep breath, shake yourself off. Notice. Stop.Interrupt and Shift.

Change Your Thoughts And You Transform Your Life

Do something else. If you want to change your life you must change what you are doing. Get it? This is how you move from less than glorious to glorious. Stop the old chronic conditioned ways. Interrupt it. Then shift to what you’d rather do instead, SHIFT!

To make it a habit you need to repeat if for long enough as I have described. You can change your thinking, feelings and behaviors this way. This is part of the process in my Attitude Activator™ Audio Program. It guides you to learn this process and make changes.
