“You can overcome panic attacks, the feeling of overwhelm and anxiety and live a freer more wonderful life by learning some methods that help you relax and change focus. Energy flows where attention goes. Anxiety, panic and overwhelm result from thoughts.
These are habitual reactions. They’re learned because they’re allowed to continue. To get free you need to catch them when they’re triggered. Often, they happen due to a triggering event or thought. They can occur from chronic worry and stress.
If you think something is bad or you can’t handle it you make it so. What you focus on is what you get. Where you put your attention determines what you think, see, feel and how you act. You need to re-educate yourself and learn to manage and abolish them.
The Mind Is As Weak As Its Weakest Think – Learn To Focus
You can if you want to. The best way is to learn a number of approaches which overall teach you to relax and shift your focus. Then when troublesome moments occur instead of triggering panic and overwhelm they trigger calm, confidence and well-being.
It doesn’t mean you become gleeful when something challenging occurs but it means you become capable of resolving it without going down a negative rabbit hole. I’m going to share with you a few methods over the course of upcoming blog posts.
If you are willing to change you can. If you are open and commit to trying out new things that can make a real difference you’ll discover you can do more and feel better than you may think. You can transform and feel better using these easy ways to release panic.
Relax – Release – Let Go – Manage Your Thoughts And Feelings
Meditate in the morning is tip or method number one. Begin your day right. Meditation allows you to relax and feel calm. When you make it a habit your habit is one of feeling relaxed and calm. Get it? Open the day with calm, assured, relaxed focus. You’ll change.
There are guided meditations you can find online. I have a couple I made too. There are books you can read. The main point is to develop a positive practice that begins your day well. The same is true about concluding your day. Book end your day positively.
I’ll share more and other methods but wanted to introduce you to this concept. You can change if you are willing to. Most people don’t change because they keep on doing what they have been doing. Anxiety, panic and overwhelm are learned reactions.
The More You Do It – The More Capable You Become To Do It
If you want to be different you need to learn different, new, positive ways of being. Where most people have difficulty is they continue to perpetuate the problem while hoping it will be different instead of making it different by developing another way to be.
When you decide to be different and follow through until different you open up a new and incredible world for yourself. Everything can change because you learn to be different, think, feel and act differently. Making meditation a habit is worth any effort you might think it requires. If you do nothing nothing will change. If you want to change do something different. Learn to meditate and learn to be grateful and you’ll be glad you did. Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes
