“This is a beautiful reminder to let go of the past. Not just the past long ago, but the past of today. Stop carrying old baggage with you. Let it go. Drop into this present moment. Only present exists. Past and future exist in only thought. Free yourself. Discover the bliss.
Take this quote from Raymond Charles Baker to heart: “Without spiritual understanding the past does continue to operate and govern the present, but this need not be so. Paul knew this and said “I die daily.” It is a wise person who at the end of the day lets the problems of the day die, not carrying them through the night to awaken with them as still present. The continuity of your problems is dependent on you. The negatives of the past endure as long as you fail to behold yourself as God’s present beloved activity.”
Live in this moment. That’s all you can do. You either spend the present enjoying the present or lost in the past or future. However, if you celebrate your past and eagerly anticipate the future positively planning it, you are making better use of your time. That IS better.
But most people don’t. They wallow. They relive bad moments over and over. They let it consume them. They worry continuously about things that almost never happen. That’s wasting your time AND your energy. Remain present. It’s the only ‘time’ you actually have.
Transform Your Thoughts & Create Your Best Life Ever
People regret the past. They feel guilty, remorseful, angry or sad. They worry and fear the future. They doubt the future will work out the way they want. If you do this you’re using your mind in harmful ways. By dwelling in negativity, you miss this moment. You lose!
The only time you have is right now. Stop robbing yourself of your present. Enjoy this moment! Let go of everything else. Notice it, but move on. Dive into now. Discover what’s here for you. Don’t miss the glory and joy of feeling fully inspired living in this moment. Get it?
Wake up. Say. yes to right now. Be here now. Be present. Stop perpetuating doom and gloom. Celebrate joy and positivity. Die to the past as Paul suggested. Let go of each moment and stay present. Feel the blessings here and now. Everything else is a distraction from what is. When you become truly present bliss arises. Everything becomes new. Discover this. LIVE and celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes
