Perhaps, you didn’t know that I have also been a filmmaker, producer, director, acting and speaking coach for newbies and professionals, a SAG/Aftra actor and consultant for most of my life.

BTW I am sharing a number of links for you to access the different shows and platforms.

In 2009 I launched Rex Sikes’ Move Beat: Conversations with Filmmakers – which has a wonderful podcast audience on spotify, apple and wherever podcasts are found. There’s over 600 hours of discussions with pros sharing what to do and not do to launch, maintain and enhance a career in film, media and the arts. The website was huge with all things film and film business related.

Unfortunately, someone highjacked the site, I got lock out and lost access to hundreds of blog articles, other resources and assets that made the website so popular globally. I downsized at the time and relaunched just the podcast/radio show on wordpress. However, I was not happy with that platform for the podcasts. So, I suspended doing the discussions and was busy with other important work.

I did my own shows, did 2 years of shows for the L A Tribune and appeared all over the place as an author and speaker, a catalyst for positive personal and business transformation and film podcasts.

I launched rexikestv.com last year and put my other show up there first. Create Your Best Life with Rex featuring others who can help you transform your results for the better. I just relaunched Rex Sikes’ Move Beat for filmmakers and fans.

What blew me away when I first started the how more than 15 years ago was this. I knew filmmakers would love it BUT I was shocked at how many fans tuned in just to hear what filmmakers and celebrities had to say. FANS who had no interest in working in show business but they were curious and loyal to my show.

So, I just streamed my first show back in a while and had two marvelous guests Suzanne Jurva who worked with Steven Spielberg at Dreamworks and Jeff Kurz who was an executive at Miramax and worked with Wes Craven and the Halloween movies.

Both are responsible for many movies you know, watched and loved or still want to. They’re responsible for helping some actors you know have a career!

I share this with you because whether you are a filmmaker or a fan you might be intersted and want to hear what my guests say.

At RexSikesTV.com there are now these two shows. They’re also available at my Create Your Best Life With Rex youtube channel.
