“Successful people may adjust their plans but never give up their dream. They learn what works and what doesn’t by continuously experimenting. They try but don’t give up. They use what didn’t work as feedback to adjust and continue. Others quit when it gets tough.
Winners don’t quit. If they do, they don’t win. They stick with it through thick and thin. Sometimes, they get lucky but it’s because they keep going after what they want to make happen until they discover the opportunities and advantages that give them the edge.
Successful people persist in the face of relentless opposition. They don’t let well-meaning people discourage them from accomplishing their dreams. The Wright Bros own father told them they were idiots. Perhaps, you face friendly opposition too. It is all part of it.

They learn the power of focus and concentration to tune out and ignore distractions and dissuaders. They value and use their time well to get the most bang for their ‘time bucks.’ Habits rule our lives. They learn success habits that support them in their pursuits.
Our habits either help us succeed or they’re the reason we don’t. We need be sure our habits support us to become the champions who reach the finish line. We need to develop successful thinking, feeling and behaving habits. When we do we begin getting better results.
Know this: your bad habits can be changed. If you’ve some habits that don’t serve you well this is great news. Habits can be changed through awareness and effort. You need to notice when you aren’t doing what you want to be doing and then do what you want.

Do it immediately. Once you notice what you’re doing isn’t working, that is awareness, shift from what isn’t working to begin doing anything else. You may not even know what to do but do something different. Interrupt the chronic negative old habit.
Interrupt the pattern. That is the beginning. Put an end to thinking, feeling and behaving in the old way and shift toward the positive. Experiment. Try thinking differently. Be positive. Affirm. Jump up and down. Sing, hum, smile, laugh. Stop the old. Do something new!
You repeat this process. As you do this you begin to become more aware of when you are starting to engage in the old habitual behaviors and you stop! TAKE A PAUSE! TAKE A BREATH. Interrupt the pattern. Come to a full stop. Be glad you recognized the trigger.

Then decide to engage in the new behavior you want to become a habit.
