“The point of the teacher appearing when the student is ready IS TO DISAPPEAR when the student is able. Those who make the student dependent on the teacher are NOT true teachers. The goal is to have the student surpass the teacher. It’s the goal of a true teacher!
That’s how we move things forward. No one actually teaches anything. We present. We introduce. We guide and help mold but we do not teach. It is the student who learns and acquires new insight and skill. Learning is about acquisition, not teaching.
Through applying principles and practices and from experience the student gains wisdom. It’s a mistake to think one teaches and that there are people who can’t learn. That’s just a way to blame the student. But it’s not the teacher’s fault either. Blame must stop.

We present to those who CAN absolutely learn. They may choose not to. They may be distracted or have no interest but they can absolutely learn if they want to. They may not find the presentation worth paying attention to. But, they can choose to or not. Get this.
So-called teachers need to STOP blaming students and become better presenters. The problem with most educational systems is the blame they student and want to medicate the student instead of helping presenters get better. The world needs better teachers.
The world needs more willing students. Both have a role to play. The learner’s task is to be empty so the teacher can present and coach and guide to a willing mind. The teacher needs to care, be involved and present so the learner can grasp what is being offered.

We need better thoughts leaders too. Many current thought leaders while claiming to inspire and motivate do so primarily to keep the student coming back. They make the learner dependent. They use fear tactics to market. They use propaganda.
We need better presenters and thought leaders. We need true guides who inspire and share worthwhile transformational principles that students can implement to make themselves into the person they’d like to be. We need transformational leaders!
We need transformational leaders who themselves are transformed. True, caring guides who walk their talk. Money and fame is not an indicator. It could be, but it can also be deceptive. Authenticity, integrity, honesty, and compassion are better. Walk the talk.

We need people who assist others in learning how to be able to recognize and take advantage of opportunities. We need people who inspire people to find the goodness and the positive possibilities within them and around them. We don’t need predatory practices.
We don’t need more fear tactics. We don’t need more crush the competition mentality. We don’t need more jets, fancy cars and mansion photos. That’s preying on the conditioning of people that’s been going on for decades. Stop creating dependent students.
Many of the thought leaders aren’t ready to let the student, the customer, go. The job of a true thought leader is to assist others in creating more wonderful lives and then step aside. Let go. Disappear. When the student is able let them move on. Help them to move on!

Let them surpass you. GET THIS! Stop making people dependent on you and a mental ‘fix’ and instead help them become independent, self-reliant, resilient and capable. Help them know they have learned and they can move on. They shouldn’t live in the teacher’s shadow.
Help them trust themselves and co-operate with others. Help them find the good. Help them to live the good life and say goodbye. Help and let go. The teacher appears when the student is ready and disappears with the student is able. Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes
