“The end of your day is the most important time. It’s crucial for your health, happiness, wealth, success and overall wellbeing to use it wisely. Unfortunately, most people waste it or abuse this time and themselves by what they do right before they fall asleep. How you think and what you think while going to sleep greatly matters. You can set yourself up for disappointment or for success. Use this time wisely. It’s the easiest time for programming.
Stop reviewing disappointments, frustrations and the worries of the day. This is not the time to regret the past or worry about the future. This is the time to let all of that go. Frankly, you should release it and let it go anytime you can. Before bed you want to think and feel your best. As you fall asleep what you think and hear matters. Make it a point to fill your mind with the very best thoughts and feel the best you can as you prepare to drift off.
Don’t watch movies, the news or anything that may disturb you. Fill it with positive thoughts, images, sounds and affirmations. Let go of problems and worries. Release them. Remember Job 3:25 said, ‘For the thing I greatly feared has come upon me, andwhat I dreaded has happened to me.’ Instead of bringing about what you don’t want, use this time to bring about what you do want. Live from the feeling of the wish already fulfilled.

Focus on the good, the beautiful, the joy. Focus on what you are grateful for and the people you appreciate. Feel love. Job also reminds us 33:14-16 ‘For God may speak in one way, or in another, yet man does not perceive it. In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falls upon men, while slumbering on their beds, then He opens the ears of men, And seals their instruction.’ While slumbering, in a dream, in a vision of the night.
Yes, this is a Bible verse. What research has borne out is that as we go into sleep, leaving normal waking consciousness we pass through phases. The body heals during sleep. Processes engage to replenish and nourish use mentally, emotionally and physically. Our brainwaves slow until we reach deep sleep. We move from waking consciousness to an area of suggestibility, a programming area and into dreaming and processing.
As we go to sleep this is the time to think, feel and believe the very best. Program your mind for a beautiful next day. Think thoughts of love, peace, and joy. Give yourself suggestions and affirmations for health, happiness, wealth and success. Don’t set yourself up for conflicting thoughts of doubt or worry. Think thoughts that lead you to feel better and better. Let go of everything else. Make the transition into deep sleep positive and wonderful.

Do this nightly. Do it when you nap. Rejoice and enjoy. Celebrate and delight. Feel marvelous as you go into dreamland. Make this a habit. You will notice the difference. The problem for most people is this. The body, the brain has wisdom and intelligence and ability that is vast, magnificent and powerful. Yet, most people have spent their lives teaching it to not heal and help and create good things but to worry, fear and doubt.
There’s all this remarkable positive power being wasted of fear and frustration instead of directed in positive and wonderful ways. It’s time to take back your ability to direct your mind to serve you as it can and is intended to. Think of it his way. If your pet misbehaves it is because it learned to misbehave. Train your pet well and your pet will do as it is trained. That simple analogy is how you need to think about your brain. YOU must train it.
Most people don’t. They allow it to run on as it was conditioned while growing up. Take it back and train it to work for you the way you want it to work. It’s immensely capable of delivering you majestic goodness but won’t unless you instruct it and train it what to deliver. Then it will reliably deliver. That’s what brains do. They do what they’ve been trained to do. Use your sleep by taking care to set up those moments before you go to sleep.
