“How’d you like to feel better almost instantly? How’d you like to feel that what you do matters?Would you like to feel proud? It’s great when you can feel good about yourself and proud of something positive you’ve done? Remember, when you did something and someone commented or thanked you. Perhaps, they wanted to pay you or reciprocate in some fashion. That’s pretty nice, isn’t it? Feels good, right?
Would you like to feel valued and connected more frequently? It doesn’t take much to feel significant and productive. The secret may not surprise you but I promise you that you’ll discover all sorts of positive benefits, rewards and feelings if you just do what I’m proposing. Help someone out who’s down. They may be feeling down or down on their luck. Help them. Recognize them. Say hello. Smile. Acknowledge.
Don’t ignore people in pain. Don’t ignore those who are in poverty. Whether the person is emotionally or financially troubled, do something to help ease their burden. Help put a smile on their lips or a song in their heart. Any genuine act of kindness, no matter how large or small, can mean more than you might imagine to that person in need. Help them. Pay it forward. Don’t let others feel lonely or disconnected.
DEVELOP THE POSITIVE ATTITUDE, MINDSET AND BELIEFS TO TRANSFORM YOURSELF
Help them feel a ray of sunshine and that they matter to someone. Care! Little acts of kindness randomly spread throughout the day can help you to feel inspired and delighted. Sometimes, it is as easy as lighting up, smiling genuinely and listening intently when greeting another person. If you want to feel better, help someone else feel better. Bathe them in positivity and enjoy their presence. Be receptive!
It might surprise you how good you feel when thinking, feeling and moving with care and compassion. Shower that person with peace and love in your heart and mind. It can meaningful affect you and them. In your mind and heart hold them in the highest esteem and respect. Everyone wants to be part of a community, listened to, heard, validated and respected. Sadly, not everyone is. Help them feel valued.
Take a moment and truly listen. Help them feel connected and not alone. Smile warmly at everyone! It’s easy to feel good when your goal is to help others feel good. As they light up, you will too. Whenever you are down and need a lift, give someone else a lift and you’ll benefit! Aim to understand, accept, allow, inspire, motivate, and assist others. Delight in doing good! When you go a little further than everyone else, the person you are kind to feels it! So will you. Go the extra mile. Go beyond what others will. The rewards for the person you help and for you for helping will be remembered. Celebrate everyone. Celebrate everything! Rex Sikes
