“HOW TO OVERCOME BLOCKS AND GET THINGS DONE: In this post I’ll discuss blocks to getting things done and the guides to getting things done as my Time Management: Mind Design™ Mini-Workshop continues. As with any information, it will only help to transform your life when you actually apply it! Doing activates it.
Blocks To Getting Things Done:
1. Poor attitude: You avoid discomfort. You fear failure or success.
2. Rationalization: You lack the skill. You wait for the right moment. You make excuses. You have limiting beliefs
3. Fatigue, stress, illness
4. Environment: It’s a messy area. Distractions. There’s noise.
Guides To Getting Things Done:
1. Activate your attitude.
2. Develop the skills. Adjust your beliefs.
3. Doing begets energy.
4. Turn your environment into an invitation.
Skill Comes Of Doing – The More We Do The More We Can Do
1. Activate Your Attitude:
Learn to ask yourself the kind of questions that lead to better results. Remember every action or inaction involves a choice. You’re always spending your time in some manner. Do you want to spend it whining and complaining?
Wouldn’t you prefer to learn to ask questions that get you what you want? How you direct your mind, and what you pay attention to, determines the kind of results you get. To change your life you must change what you do. Manage your mindset. Develop better habits!
2. Stop Rationalizing:
Develop skills and adjust your beliefs.
Overcome your tendency to rationalize by building an internal alarm system that goes off so you catch yourself when you do it. Pay attention to when you make excuses. Awareness helps you change!
There Is No Such Thing As Failure – There Is Only Feedback
When you notice yourself rationalizing ask yourself, “Is this constructive or am I rationalizing?” This gives you the opportunity to prove to yourself you’re not a victim of your moods. Develop the ability to act in spite of how you feel. It’s important for action!
When you force yourself to do something you don’t want to do your self-esteem and self-satisfaction increases! Champion Muhammed Ali said he didn’t always feel like training, but did it anyway because the long term goal was worth more than the present sacrifice. Get it?
To handle fear of failure, realize failure is only feedback. The more chances you give yourself to fail, the more feedback you get and the better your chances of success! Adjust and continue. Make the necessary corrections and carry on. This IS how you learn. Get it?
Action Is The Proper Use Of Knowledge – Correct And Continue
In the next post I’ll discuss energy and your environment. For now, pay attention to excuses you make. Resolve to behave differently. Implement small steps (break the task down) you can do that bring you wins and rewards. Apply the principles and practices you learned in part one and two. Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

I’m action oriented and carried by momentum. 3. I’m way more creative. My ability to learn, adapt, and tap my brain’s resources is on a new level. I use it at work, life, and most of all with my family. Learning is easier, faster, and fun. I’m laughing and enjoying life more than ever. MindDesign™ goes beyond NLP or other systems. MindDesign™ fills the gaps and reaches the places NLP can’t. It is the ultimate transformation program! I love it.” Michael Halbfish, Lawyer, Bethlehem, PA
“Mind Design is a game changer! It is the missing link between LOA, NLP, Hypnosis, Meditation, EFT & DHE. The support and feedback in the training is like nothing I’ve ever experienced before in 14 years of formal practice and 26 years of personal practice. You owe it to yourself and those you care about to look into this training!!” Tim Shay, Musician, Philidelphia, PA
“When you do new things, bit by bit, you become a person who can change and do new things! I have been doing small new things for a while now and it’s a wonderful habit. It’s fun and powerful. I realized how having this habit allows me to break and build any habit, which is very liberating power to have. These Mind Design principles are something else because of their simplicity. Amazing, how cool things happen when you just do them. Equally, amazing is to imagine what it must have taken to put them together in this effortless to learn way. Takes enormous mastery to reduce complex ideas to their simpliest form, but not simpler.” Robert Bogsten, Marketing Copyrighter, Turku, Finland
