If most of your thoughts are less-than-glorious they are your default. They are status quo. That is your comfort zone. They are welcome so much you hardly notice them. When you attempt to think positively, those thoughts seem foreign.
It’s uncomfortable. It’s unnatural. It seems harder. Why? Because they aren’t a habit. They haven’t frequented your mind enough to be welcome. If you want to change your life you first must manage your thoughts. You must shift from your thoughts being mostly negative, or about problems, events, other people, distractions, whines, blames, excuses and reasons. All of them together make up the bulk of your thinking. You repeat them over again.
Why? They are the habits of thought. They are welcome. They are familiar. It is your default. Your comfort zone. It is what is most familiar. ‘Merely to discontinue an undesirable habit is not enough, as such habits have a tendency to reappear unless the place, they formerly occupied in the mind is filled by some other habit of a different nature.’ Napoleon Hill. Learning to positively manifest IS a science. The rules are so simple anyone may follow them.
However, you must be willing to exchange the less-than-glorious habit for a more positive, optimistic and productive habit. If you keep doing the same thing repeatedly that isn’t working, it will continue to not work. You must discontinue the old and fill the absence with the new. You must correctly, consistently, repeatedly, perform the new habit for long enough for it to take hold and become the new reliable automatic positive beneficial habit.
It’s unlikely you will do it on your own. Developing a champion mindset that works favorable for you is like becoming a champion athlete. Champions understand the immense value of the proper coach. They don’t do it alone. They rely on expert guidance. They do what is necessary to become the person of their dreams. They invest in themselves. They become coachable and teachable. They follow the instructions a coach gives them. Get this.
It isn’t willy-nilly, haphazard training, it is conscientious, deliberate, intentional, focused positive conditioning through guidance. Without it champions don’t become champions. Ask anyone who is. Together, one can form a mastermind but what is presented as masterminds in the marketplace is not a mastermind. It is a group collective. That said, it is better than nothing.
