“What you believe is what you see. Our beliefs shape our perceptions and expectations. What we expect shapes what we look for and notice. Our beliefs and values are unconscious filters that determine how we think, feel, move in and our results in the world.
They set our thermostat! Our inner thermostat is an analogy for how the brain works to maintain consistency in life. When you set a thermostat it adjusts to keep the temperature the same inside in spite of changes. It cools or warms up to remain at its set point.
We don’t believe one thing one day and then something randomly different the next and the day after that. We are pretty much the same with some variation. This is good thing. It keeps you sane and others sane knowing you. But it has a downside too.

If the beliefs we’ve grown up with limit us (and most of us grew up with many) then they could and should be updated. If you have trouble in relationships, being happy, making money and enjoying life your beliefs are running the show. You can change them though!

If you’re not enjoying your life you want to update your beliefs and create ones that serve you instead of holding you back. You reprogram or recondition your mind and train your brain to operate the way you’d like it to. You put yourself in charge. This you need.
