“It is not quite the same as programming a computer but the analogy isn’t completely off either. Your brain was programmed primarily between the ages of zip and 8. You didn’t have a say in the matter. The rest of the time you spend carrying out or resisting the program.
It is the way of the world for us. It just is. We rarely alter the programming because it IS our unconscious habits we are mostly unaware of. Even when it is frustrating or painful people rarely do much to make changes. It is just the way of the world. Get this.
Between 95-98% of our brain runs repeated patterns, travels neural pathways, squirts chemicals to keep us alive. First prime directive. LIVE. Second, to streamline our learning so we don’t have to relearn everything. Hence, habits and stereotyping experiences. Get this?

You don’t have to learn what a chair or an auto is every time you see or use one. Thank goodness. Most of the habits operate quickly, with great speed, outside of conscious awareness and we discover what is running as it goes along. We react by hurling the finger at someone.
Maybe moments or hours later we decide perhaps we shouldn’t have. Too late. The brain does what it does and our conscious mind that 5 – 2% slower unit catches up, but rarely catches on. BUT we can learn to take charge of the subconscious brain. Good news.
The only real job of the conscious mind is to TELL the subconscious mind what to do. BUT it has a language all of its own AND a particular and peculiar way of accepting what it is told. The language is feelings and they must be intense enough for the sub to notice.

You must tell it what to do, what you want repeatedly, correctly, concisely, intensely, with intense feeling, persistently, for long enough for it to take hold of the new command and make it a new habit. THEN and only then will it serve you in a new way. Get this.
OTHERWISE, it’ll continue to do what it learned long ago. You may be frustrated, but it’s serving you. Keeping you alive, safe and consistent NO MATTER how much you whine, complain, scream, blame, or excuse. It isn’t sabotaging you its running programs.
SO stop whining and learn to take charge. Nope, they don’t teach you how in school because that isn’t their agenda. THEIR agenda is to keep you a worker bee in the dark and for little pay. That said, you can change your habits and become free. BUT you have to do it!

You have to reprogram or recondition your brain for what you want it to do instead of what it is already doing that you consciously with that 2-5% don’t like. 95%-98% of this beast runs on and on, on its own doing what it is SUPPOSED to do. Keep you alive! Get it?
Your subconscious runs the show because it is billions of times more powerful and faster than your limited, slower conscious mind. Think largest ocean liner. The vessel and engine etc is your subconscious mind. POWERFUL AND BIG! Your conscious is the rudder.
The rudder doesn’t run it but it can steer it. Your conscious mind directs the subconscious when you DO IT PROPERLY otherwise you are wasting your time fighting an immense force that will repeat what it always repeats. UNTIL you teach it to change doing that.

Whatever you think it will be it will be. You decide whether it will be easy or not so easy. SO, find ways to make it easy for yourself. Everything gets easier with practice! That’s good news. You can master this and you can master it quite easily if you will only do it!
Things take time. Wine improves with age. There are learning curves. You either enhance your ability to take charge of your brain more quickly through a positive attitude and thought efforts, or it takes more time because you’re frustrated and thwarts the process.
When you get into the proper frame of mind, feeling good in mind and body, you enter a zone where things can seem to happen almost effortlessly. You aren’t split. Your attention is focused. You are congruent. Your mind and body aligned. It can seem magical and it is!

You can learn and develop more flow by making new good habits. By thinking positive you can flow more easily. This helps you get positive results much more effortlessly. It isn’t magic. It operates according to principles and laws, but it can seem just like magic.
It is scientific, yet seems fanciful because the words we use to describe the process seem like magical words or religious words. We use words like, let go, trust, relax, believe, attract, manifest, create. Get this! You’ve been programmed. Want to change?
