“I’ve done hundreds, if not 1000s, of hours in a float tank. I love it. Not everyone does. Some find it boring or uncomfortable. I enjoy it. If you do it’s a good way to relax. Meditation is marvelous. The goal of meditation is there is no goal! Live meditatively. Simply be.
It is not an accomplishment. It’s an undoing. The goal is not to relax. Through meditating one discovers oneself living free of stress and able to relax. It’s a wonderful way. Breathing is key to relaxing, as well as getting powered up. It’s our life. Learn how to breathe.
Learn to let go. Forgive. Release. Hypnosis, self suggestion is another fine way. Do not make relaxing an issue. Then it is difficult to relax. Allow it to happen. Release. Find someplace peaceful, beautiful, that you enjoy, in nature to sit and do nothing.

Doing nothing is marvelous. Sit in silence. Sit in darkness. Let go of the electronic world for a while. Lie on the earth. Connect. Feel it. Feel the coolness. Simply look at the beauty. While lying down listen to the wind, the sounds, feel the earth. Enjoy the moment. Notice the smells. Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes
