“People are posting on social media about unfriending friends, blocking others and fighting over things. I feel that I always attract and surround myself with the right people for my growth and development. I attract that which I want and need to learn from.
I attract all manner of great, wonderful people, events, circumstances and things. I may attract difficulty or people I need to help me move to the next level or learn to release some issue. All is good because whatever I get is what IS, and is perfect for me.
However, I must learn to accept this and go with it. It means looking for the blessing and the good instead of not liking it. It means adjusting to focus on what I am grateful for. It’s all about directing one’s mind to benefit the most. What is IS. Be glad. Learn and delight.
The Mind Is As Strong As Its Weakest Think
Challenges and opposing viewpoints force me to consider new ideas and positions. Otherwise, I’d simply retreat into what I have always known and thought to be true. Have you noticed this about you? We miss out if all we do is defend previous positions. Have you noticed?
Without entertaining new ones, or ones dissimilar to mine, all I get is more of the same. That can be good sometimes but also not so good sometimes. The kite rises highest against the wind. Muscles grow by resistance. Water can soften the toughest rock. Diversity is good.
Don’t you want to be the best person you can? Wouldn’t you like to evolve into your highest potential? How’d you like to be free to enjoy more goodness in all your circumstances and relationships? Going beyond what we know seems to be the key in having things better.
Energy Flows Where Attention Goes
When it comes to circumstances and people I assume everything serves me. They are there for a reason. If someone chooses to unfriend me, unsubscribe to my blog or newsletters or in any way leave me, then good. I keep what I need and let go of what I don’t.
They were there for as long as necessary and now we can all move on to other things. I never want to be surrounded only by yes sayers and sycophants. I want diversity of thought and behavior. Don’t you? If someone decides I am not for them, well then I am glad.
I’m glad because we are freed up to focus on the people who we’re in it together with. All is good. The right people show up and the right ones remain for as long as they do, and the right ones leave. My hope is we can contribute and add value to each other.
What You Focus On Expands – Increase Or Decrease
What is IS. It’s all blessings. Choose to resist less and be open to more. Allow yourself to be free to think beyond the boundaries. It is always a choice. Expansion and increase or contraction and decrease? More of the same old, same old or more of the new?
I learned these things fighting with others in meditative retreats and ashrams. Sometimes you learn things in what seems the least likely of places. All is good. everything is a blessing. Things change. Are you able to adjust and continue? Be well and enjoy. Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes
