“When you’re experiencing troubling times there are things you can do to make it easier on you and others. You can manage your mindset and feeling. Then you’ll discover that even if circumstances don’t change, since you do, everything gets better because you do.
When the poo hits the propellor don’t ignore it. Take a moment to evaluate what’s going on and how you feel about it. Honesty is the best policy BUT don’t stop there. Acknowledge your feelings no matter what they are. It’s okay if you feel upset or uncomfortable.
Don’t dwell on the feelings or the problem. Just notice. Don’t rain on others because you feel down. Just notice what is going on. Then, decide to shift from less than glorious to feeling just a bit better. You may have to inch your way out of it bit by bit. That’s completely okay.
Transform Your Thoughts & Create Your Best Life Ever
Do what you can to feel just a bit better. Take some deep breaths. Take a walk. Play with a child or a pet. Get a massage. Change your focus. Place your attention elsewhere. You might think, ‘I’m learning to handle situations and focus on being more resourceful.’
Withdraw energy from the problem and place it on thinking, feeling and behaving better. Remember, it becomes what you say it is. Put a guard before your lips. Speak only to bless, heal, inspire, motivate, prosper and transform. Stay powerfully positive. Feel positive!
Notice what needs to be done that you can do. Take the first step to improve yourself and the situation. How you respond to difficult situations is important. Stop reacting as you always have in the past. Choose to respond in new and more productive ways and do it!

Plans go south. That’s part of planning. If you know this you’re ahead of many others. You make plans. Hope for the best. Know the worst is possible. Be prepared to adjust and continue. Don’t worry or focus on the negative, just understand it. Shit happens. Get over it. Go on.
Imagine traveling to your ideal vacation spot by car. Plan your route, stops, snacks etc. Keep a jack and roadside assistance. There may be detours, accidents or you could get a flat. Let’s say you blow a tire. Fix it or call roadside. No point in getting stressed out about it.
You Will Transform Your Life When You Change Your Thoughts
How you choose to respond when things go awry makes the difference between heaven, purgatory, earth and hell. Where do you want to spend your mind’s time? Hopefully, you do what’s necessary without getting bent out of shape. If you do, awesome. Carry on!
You make it what it is 95-99% of the time by acting in habitual ways, as you always have in the past, that caused you pain and suffering. Learn and decide to think, feel, speak and act in new ways now. You’ll have to rehearse it. You’ll get plenty of opportunities to practice.
Things don’t always turn out how we hope or expect. Just because things change doesn’t automatically mean it’s bad. Know this and you[re ahead of the game! You’ll get better at handling crisis and difficulty the more you successfully repeat your success. Get it?

This is how you develop new habits. Instead of doing it again and again the old way, you do it again and again the new way. So when things don’t work the way you intend them to, realize you have an incredible opportunity to transcend and transform. It’s practice!
Enjoy the process. No matter what you do if you don’t get stuck, or suck for it, you’ll start getting thought things better; easier and faster. Every time you get through tough times with a positive attitude because you choose to you are learning, really learning!
You’re wiring in good things. You’re making new, positive connections. When you deliberately and positively direct your mind, your feelings, words and behaviors and follow through on it, it is a good thing. You are transforming yourself in positive and reliable ways.
