Who are you? What’s the relationship between the mind and ego?
“Some say the mind is beyond ego. Some say the mind is a function of the ego. Some say both serve each other. Who you truly are is neither mind nor ego. You are the thinker of the thoughts. You are the feeler of the feelings. You are the possessor of the body.
Still, you are not your thoughts, your feelings, or your body. You are not the mind nor the ego. You are beyond both. When you showed up as an infant, you came without thoughts and without ego. You showed up. A new life. Open and available. Totally present.
From that instant you learned to think, how to feel, what to do. You learned to respond to a name given you, and to behave according to expectations. You learned thoughts, beliefs, values, feelings, actions, behaviors and habits. Yet, you’re none of these. You’re beyond them.
When You Really Laugh – Those Moments You’re Free Of Thinking
In this body, having grown up, you HAVE identified with these. You ARE identified with these. Yet, you are NOT these. You only think you are. Get it? You’ve become identified with your thoughts. You’re the victim of your thoughts and habits and memories you cling to.
Your mind thinks itself important. Your mind thinks you’re your identity and perpetuates it. It perpetuates who you THINK you are. Your mind runs on endlessly doing the same thinking over and over. It is only habit. It’s just conditioning but it runs on and on.
You are not this endless cycle. You are beyond the person who thinks. You are beyond the mind that runs on and on. You are not the labels or limitations you think you have. You are none of these. You are beyond all of it. You are source. You are unlimited possibility.
You’re Infinite Possibility Beyond Limitations Become Free Again
Drop the pretense. Drop the mask you’ve been wearing. Some aren’t aware that they’re wearing masks because they are identified with the mask. They think they are it. Become aware of your true self and you can become free. Awareness! Become the observer of all this.
Become aware that you’ve been conditioned. Awareness is the key. Realize you are none of these, drop them, let go and you become your authentic self. You become free of the conditioning. Then you know you are not the mind. You are none of these. You ARE you!
You’re not the mind, the ego, the body, the feelings, the behaviors, actions or habits. You USE them but you are not them. When you use a hammer or a computer you don’t think you are the hammer or the computer, but that is what we have done by being born.
Meditation Is Getting Free – Becoming Present – Living Bliss
Through that conditioning, by getting conditioned and identifying with the conditioning you think you are the hammer or the computer. You think you are who you think you are, the ego. You think you are your thoughts. YOU ARE NOT! Let go of these.
When you become free you drop these and you are free. Then you know the reality. Until then, you think you do, but you’re only thinking the thoughts you have come to think. It’s illusion. Maya. Seek to be free of your thoughts.
See to free yourself of conditioning and of ego identification. Let go of all of it. Meditate. Love. Live. Laugh. Let go. Celebrate everything. Develop the practice of awareness to begin to recognize you are beyond our thoughts, ego and behaviors. Let go of thinking.
You Drop A Pencil By Letting Go – It’s No Mystery – Drop It
Learn you can steer it. You can shift from negative to positive. If you can shift it you can learn to watch it. You can allow it to be either and not be affected by it. Observe without judgement. When you learn you can see without judgement you can learn to let go.
You can drop thinking altogether. Use it when you want. Let it go when it isn’t necessary. Then more of your moments are filled with presence, with life, with bliss! Then you might know from whence you came and the face you had, your original face.
You can discover who you were before you were born. Bliss awaits. Freedom awaits. In fact, bliss is already present. Freedom is already present. Discover this now. Become present. Become still. Become silent and know. Become silent and delight. YOU are already THAT which you seek to become. Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes
