Chanting for example isn’t meditating.

It’s used to get you into meditation. Same with watching your breath. Visualizing isn’t meditation, it is preparing you to enter meditation. I MAKE THAT DISTINCTION, but many people use the word meditation synonymously with the practice. Either way, do it and discover. Here are some simple practices to encourage mediation and how you can start rewiring your brain today:

  1. Set a Timer for 5-10 Minutes: Start small. Close your eyes, focus on your breath, and just be. If thoughts arise, gently acknowledge them and return your focus to your breathing.
  2. Body Scan: While relaxing, scan through your body, noticing where you might be holding tension. Relax those areas one by one.
  3. Gratitude: As you breathe, focus on what you’re grateful for. This activates positive pathways in your brain, rewiring you for more joy and abundance.
