Everything has a season. Whatever you plant, grows invisibly and then sprouts later. What is invisible now that can’t be seen is just around currently developing. Everything takes time and there is a time for everything. Always remember this. What you are creating now manifests later.  It may not happen when you hope it will but it will happen if you stay with it” Rex Sikes

grow the habit

“Habits are reliable, they are dependable. We do them without thinking. Habits are part of us. Our unconscious mechanism is consistent. We never forget to do a habit. Because of this habits are difficult to break.

Most of the time people think of habits as something negative, and unhealthy. Smoking, eating or drinking to excess, too much TV or computer games and they can be. What this tells you is that your brain doesn’t care if something is positive or negative, good or bad, it will carry it out reliably. It will engage in destructive behavior or positive constructive behavior. What you get just depends on what you cultivate.

Just as the soil doesn’t care if you plant nutritious food or poison your unconscious will deliver whatever has been planted over and over again. We become whatever we think about most of the time.

Whatever fills our mind and occupies our attention over and over is what we get. Our thoughts become things, feelings and behaviors. AGAIN – we become whatever it is we habitually think about.

The good news is we can learn new positive habits. When we do they become reliable and consistent and hard to break.” Rex Sikes
