“Pandemic or not. Lockdown, then or again. Whether it is this challenge or another, things change. It could be an earthquake, a fire, a flood, another financial bubble burst or more robbery from the top. It doesn’t matter what it is. Things change. THINGS CHANGE!

Get over it. The desire to remain the same is the burden. Change is the constant. Remember, energy cannot be created or destroyed but transformed. Things change. We either go with it and innovate or resist it and wallow. We’ll stay stuck until we decide to move again.

Like the Phoenix, we can rise again no matter what. Many whine and complain. They moan and cry but we can innovate and do better than we did in the past when we realize opportunity exists within adversity. Attitude does determine our altitude. Get this.

Change Your Thoughts And You Transform Your Life

It’s normal to grieve but then get over it. We see examples of what’s possible on the news when someone loses their home. One person cries and is devastated. Another says, ‘it was just stuff.’ Another says, ‘we will build again.’ Three different reactions to the same event.

Anything is possible. The choice of how to live through difficulty is yours. Survive or Thrive? It’s up to you. Mindset matters. There may be bigger challenges coming. Well, heck, there always are. Learn how to roll with the punches. Become resilient. Do or die. Suffer or celebrate. I say, ‘when you consider everything a blessing, everything is a blessing.’ Get it? Fear not. Celebrate everything.” Rex Sikes
