“Some people seem grumpy no matter what. They don’t like it and most others don’t like it either. Heres a few ways to improving your attitude so you are no longer Debbie or Donnie Downer. Attitude is the number one predictor of success so make yours great!

First, relax. Lose the stress. Have a cup to tea, take a bath, walk in nature but do something to soothe yourself. Work it out at the gym. Sauna, swim, listen to music. Develop the habit of sitting quietly listening or reflecting on positive ideas. Meditate. Pray. Let go.

Second, surround yourself with positive upbeat friends. Choose to be around those people who uplift you, inspire you and challenge you to be better. Enjoy the company of people who make you feel good and not down. Positive friend time is a big plus and a help.

Surround Yourself With Beauty And Simplicity – Feel Awe

Third. learn something new that delights you. Take up a pleasant hobby. Enjoy discovering new things that make you have more fun, a better time or put smiles on your face. Take a personal improvement program to better your attitude and your outlook as well as skills.

Fourth, enjoy simple things. This can apply to all of the above. Walk in nature, enjoy a good meal with friends, take a tiny trip somewhere, read a good book, go to a concert or the movies. Live a little. Have fun. Nothing need be grandiose. Just enjoy simplicity.

Fifth, declutter and straighten out your spaces. It’s hard to feel good if you always look at a mess. Clean it up and clear it out. Whether it is your work-space, living space or car you’ll feel better the more organized you are. Do it bit by bit to avoid overwhelm and enjoy.

Spend Time In Nature And Enjoy How Vast And Abundant It Is

Sixth, laugh more each day. I have done morning laughter meditation and have taught or led them since the 80s. Begin your morning with laughter is one of the best ways to get your day going. Sit and just laugh out loud. Good and loud. Go for 5, 10 20 minutes or more.

Laughter benefits your health and well being and there are plenty of studies demonstrating and listing the benefits. It’s good for your heart, your lungs, stomach and digestion, stress relief and attitude. Plus, you use your own body chemistry to feel so much better.

All of these easy, simple and enjoyable practices have immediate and long term effects and none of them will harm you. Start doing any one of these today to begin to feel a bit better. Learn to let go of troubles and difficulties. It is said a pessimist finds difficulty in every opportunity while an optimist finds opportunity in every difficulty. Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

“As one of the ‘Top 25 Network Marketers in World’ and also a recovering alcoholic with over 30 years sobriety, I am constantly asked to review and read books on personal development either in business or recovery. Most of them are just like the last one I read. Nothing ever seems new or too useful. And then came Life On Your Terms by Rex Sikes. From the first page, I knew this book would be different and better. And the more I read the more right I was. Read this book. It will change your life. Even if your life is great, like mine is today, it will make it even better. I have so many people reading it, from my son to my AA friends to my business associates, because it works for everyone. I LOVE THIS BOOK!” – Tom Chenault, The Tom Chenault Radio Show
