“A very famous biblical passage begins with ‘Ask and it will be given to you.’ So ask. If you don’t ask the answer is already no. Ask for what you want. Ask to negotiate. Ask for a raise. Ask for the sale. Ask for a date. Ask for a bargain. Ask for help. Ask for a coach or mentor.
The answer can be ‘yes’. At the worst, it’s a ‘no’. Ask again or ask someone else. Ask and receive. You won’t get what you want if you don’t ask for it. So make it part of your daily practice to ask.
Ask for what you want and need. ‘Ask and it will be given to you.’ So ask. Get it? Ask. Ask yourself. Ask others. Ask the universe or your higher power. The better you get at asking the better you get at getting. Get it? Ask. The rest of the verse reads like this:
