“RELAX! Don’t put your body or your mind through all sorts of crap. Let it go. Stress, fear, and frustration won’t help you. It’ll only make things more difficult. When you’re stressed and in fight or flight your body is prepped to fight or flee. This is a specific survival task.

Your body gets ready to run or fight so everything else shuts down. Decision making and high brain functions are inhibited. Survival becomes important. Blood moves from brain and body to extremities to punch or run. Get it? Your options become fewer.

KNOW THIS: It’s gonna work out the way it’s gonna work out whether you get emotionally stressed about it or you don’t get emotionally stressed about it! So, you might as well stay relaxed and go through it relaxed than to go through it stressing out. Get it?

But to do this you got a learn how to do it. The only way you learn how to do it is by doing it when you need to do it. You learn to remain emotionally calm and available during times of high stress the same way you learn to play piano, cook, swim, jiggle or anything else.

You practice relaxing and letting go. When times get stressful you remember to stop, breathe and take a pause from the troubles. Let them go. THIS IS WHEN IT IS IMPORTANT TO DESTRESS! So, do it and you’ll get better at it. You won’t be an expert at first. Get this!

So, rest. Relax. Take care of yourself and just let it be what it is! Everything will work out as you hope, or opposite as you hope. You can’t control what you cannot control. Understand this! Let go of what you can’t control. Relax.

Go through it and adjust and continue as you move forward. Take care of yourself first! Learn to let go of the stress and everything else becomes a little easier. You make better decisions when calm and collected so get calm and collected.
