“8. Practice the Golden Rule. What you send, returns to you. Think the best and expect the best for others and from others. Hold everyone in the highest esteem. Wish them the best no matter who they are. What you concentrate on, you attract. This is a great way to make sure you attract only what you want to attract and not what you don’t want. Do unto others as you would have done unto you.
That is the golden rule. The Platinum Rule is DO to others what they’d like done to them. Instead of you decided what they want, you take your cues from them. You learn how they want to be treated and treat them that way. You give to them what they’d like to receive. Either way, you and they win.
There’s no reason to attract anger, resentment, hostility, hatred or even indifference to yourself so be sure you aren’t putting that out there. Think, feel, speak and do the best and you get the best in return. Shower others with peace, love and enjoyment. Wish them success. Celebrate the good things that happen for them. Take time to help them accomplish what they’d like to accomplish.

Remember the famous Ziglar quote, ‘You can get anything you want if you help other people get what they want.’ If it’s money you can affirm, ‘I make 1000s helping 1000s of people.’ or ‘I make millions helping millions of people.’ or ‘I am happy because I help others to be happy.’ ‘I am healthier because I help others get healthier.’ Think about it. Don’t create for others anything you don’t want for yourself.
Create goodness and goodwill. Use both the Golden Rule and the Platinum Rule and you’ll be doing good. When you first seek to serve is when the world changes for you. Most of the movers and shakers in the world had ideas and practices that help many others. One idea can transform your world and the world around you for others. Don’t be stingy. Serve. Give.
