“Okay, it’s a new year. Congratulations we made it! If you’re like many people you want to start fresh. You want New Year’s day to mark a new beginning. Excellent. Use it to move yourself forward. Expect the best. Be optimistic. Move forward with renewed faith.

If you’re like many you’ve made some resolutions. Here’s some tips to help you keep them and move forward in positive ways. Too many people rush into the gym only to abandon it a few weeks later.  The reason for this is old habits die hard. UNLESS you know what to do.

There is inertia. The ability for things to remain the same until acted on by a equal or greater force. Understand this tendency and you can begin winning. This means to get going, and keep going, you must take action and apply it consistently for long enough.

Learn To Change Your Thinking & Create Your Best Life!

You want to make the new behaviors new habits. Once you do then inertia works for you. A body remains at rest, or in motion, remains until an equal or greater force acts on it. Once the new habit forms it is automatic and reliable similar to the old habit you replaced.

Don’t bite off more than you can chew. Concentrate on one goal or habit at at time. How do you eat an elephant? Bite by bite. Make the new pieces small enough, but still large enough they’re worth doing. Make them enjoyable and fun if possible. You do the things you like.

Be consistent. Do it regularly. Be persistent. Understand it takes time for the new neural wiring, the new habit, to form. Decide you’re in for the long hall. Maintain a positive outlook. Keep it simple. Add in other changes you want to make slowly when ready. Keep at it.

 Transform Your Thoughts & Skyrocket Your Abundance

Don’t try to do too much at once. Remember, the past doesn’t matter.  No matter how many times you may have failed if you stick with it you’ll master it. You will develop the new habit in time so make sure you are ‘practicing’ what you want to be automatic.

Stop complaining. When you complain you practice complaining. Don’t reinforce this habit. If you’re like most people it would serve you to change this one. You can drop complaining and make a new habit to remain positive and optimistic. Manage your mindset!

Make entering the new year delightful and exciting. Look for the good. Emphasize it. Stay focused on the good and the positive changes you are discovering and making. Realize, if it’s to be it’s going to happen under your power and direction. So take charge.

Transform Your Thoughts & Create  An Incredible New Year!

Be a benevolent director of your own thoughts, feelings, speech and behaviors. Love yourself and reward yourself as you accomplish the tasks, goals and changes you want to make. Wanting it isn’t enough. It requires doing it. Do you want money or do you prefer having it?

Get it? Wanting is fine but does nothing by itself. Doing what is necessary, repeatedly, correctly, consistently for long enough will wire in the new habit. If you wanted to learn to juggle begin juggling. You’ll drop balls. That’s part of learning and acquiring the skill.

Soon enough you will get better. Keep at it and you’ll get even better.  Pretty soon you can say you juggle because you do. Whatever change you want to make be smart, be wise, be gentle, be kind, be loving, and committed. Persist. See it through. Learn: you got this!

Change Your Thoughts & Transform Your Life: It Works!

Learn you can do this. You absolutely can. Believe in yourself. Affirm the best in you and from you. Drop the negative self-talk. Support yourself in making your changes. Make everything as delightful as possible and take time to enjoy it all. Keep the faith. Believe in you!

If you stop, don’t be stupid about it. Simply start again. Build on the positive momentum you create and it gets easier. Some people start and stop many times. That’s okay. You wake up each day after sleeping and begin again. Get it? Decide to do it and do it. Keep your word. Keep commitments you make to yourself. After all, a promise is a promise.
