“Continuing blog from yesterday: you can transform but you must be willing to leave your old way of doing things, your comfort zone, and learn to do some new things. For your life to change YOU must change some things in your life. You must learn new positive things.

Then you must be consistent. You apply the new learning and practices. If you don’t do what you claim to know, you really don’t know it. You’re deceiving yourself. The proper fruit of knowledge is action. You must repeatedly, consistently practice the new things.

Practice the new thoughts and feelings. Practice the new principles and behaviors. Practice thinking and speaking only positively. You have to wire these new thought, feeling, self-talk and talk behaviors in. You need to make them habits. Habits are reliable and automatic.

What We Want To Do With Ease We First Must Do With Diligence

Baby steps taken consistently, in the right direction, can take you to the top of Everest. Many people wish to change, but don’t do what is necessary to change. That too, is part of the old conditioning and the survival mechanisms of the brain to keep us alive.

The brain is designed or evolved to keep you alive, the same and within an accepted, habitual comfort zone. So you have to decide to leave it and then do whatever is necessary to promote the positive changes you desire. Then, you must keep at it until it’s a new habit.

If you wanted to get from one side of your town to another you must keep walking or driving. When you stop you aren’t progressing toward where you want to be. If you get distracted or delayed you will only get there if you resume moving towards it. Get it?

The More We Do The More We Become Capable Of Doing

You must keep at it. You don’t eat once and are done with eating. You didn’t try it and find it didn’t work. No, you eat daily for health. The same is true about a new mental nutritional conditioning program. You must apply it daily. Routinely. Often enough, correctly for long enough to wire it in AND you must realize you can change, right from where you are. It is absolutely possible. Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes
