“This is where you most likely screw up. You may say from habit, what you’ve been conditioned to say while growing up. ‘It’s easier said than done.’ The reverse is true but it’s likely you won’t believe it. You won’t unless you give yourself permission or allow yourself to explore it to discover new ways of thinking, feeling, speaking and doing. Most people, perhaps you, perpetuate the old habits.

That keeps you stuck the same way you’ve been stuck. Doing the same thing over and over builds habits but not new ones unless you do new things over and over again. Get it? To be different you must BE different. This means creating enough space to practice thinking, feeling, speaking and doing things in new more positive and productive ways. It’s why you accentuate the positive. Eliminate the negative.

Stop doing what isn’t working and start doing what works. So, here’s where people have problems. Perhaps, you. People think about things. They think their thoughts make it so. They think something then they think it was bad to have thought that. Someone offers you a new way out of your troubles and you think, ‘well that’s easier said than done.’ Or ‘easy for you to say but you don’t know…blah blah’

DEVELOP THE POSITIVE ATTITUDE, MINDSET AND BELIEFS TO TRANSFORM YOURSELF

To think in new ways, stop thinking your thinking is the only way to think. It’s not. You can learn to think differently. AND here is not only the good news BUT the truth! It is actually, literally, positively easier to do it than you may think it is!! You think it may not be and that has nothing to do with reality. When facing physical endurance challenges the first thing to bail is the mind. “I can’t do this. I’m gonna die.’

Most people can go on for far longer than they think they could. How do they do it? THEY just do it. They learn that their negative thinking is just old tape loops they acquired while growing up. Just because they think it doesn’t make it so. You can choose which thoughts you allow affect you. That’s why successful people focus on what they can do and not on what they can’t. Get this!

It’s why Henry Ford said, ‘If you think you can or you think you can’t, you are correct.’ He also said, ‘I never allow what I cannot do, prevent me from doing what I can.’ Never let your thoughts stop you from something positive, healthy and good for you and others. Yes, pay attention to signals. Pay attention to your body and feelings. There are times to seek medical care or help from others. BUT not always.

DEVELOP THE POSITIVE ATTITUDE, MINDSET AND BELIEFS TO TRANSFORM YOURSELF

Learn the difference. It IS easier done than you think it is! It truly is easier done than you think it will be. Once you get through it, you’ll think, ‘that wasn’t so bad. That was easier than I thought it was.’ Or you’ll think, ‘I got through it. Good for me!’ You must create openings to move into. A small opening becomes larger if you add to it in the same way a trickle can become a gushing river.

Stop preventing yourself from goodness by thinking it’s hard, it takes too long, you can’t do it or afford it. You can find ways to make the good happen if you will ONLY ALLOW YOURSELF to think differently about things and explore possibilities and options you haven’t and don’t. To think differently, you must think differently. It is easier done than thought about. Do it and discover.

Don’t do it and you’ll never know. Do it. Become it. Do it and you can have it. Reap the rewards. Discover the benefits. Changing means changing. If you only do what you have done, you will remain the same. If you don’t like that, what will you do to make it different and better? How soon will you begin to apply what I’ve been sharing with you for so very long? When? Isn’t NOW a good time to get going? It’s easier done than thought! Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes
