“When you’re feeling ‘out of sorts’ or ‘less than glorious’ there are simple things you can do that will make all the difference. They initiate the process of changing so you can find relief and move in a more productive direction feeling better.

The better we begin to feel the more we can continue to feel better. Do these things. If you do nothing, nothing changes. If you always do what you always did, things remain the same. FOR things to change In your life you must change some things. Get this, It’s important!

An easy way to change how you feel is to take a walk. Get outside. Get some fresh air. Walk somewhere peasant or beautiful. Take it in. See it. Notice nature. Listen. Take some deep breaths. Smell it. Feel it. Go outside and get refreshed. Change your surroundings and move!

Change Your Thoughts And You Transform Your Life

Look off into the distance. Focus your eyes far off in the distance while you walk. Look to the horizon. Change your perspective. Move! If you’re able, walk barefoot along the beach or the grass. Connect with the earth again. Be filled with the beauty.

Allow yourself to be filled with awe and the wonder of nature. It’s easy to do. Even if you live in an urban area walk somewhere nice. Go somewhere different from where you normally travel. See new places and new things. Experience news and the outdoors!

Take that walk. Whether you walk at a relaxed pace or make it brisk. WALK! Gently jog. You can also engage in your favorite form of exercise. This helps shake off old tired negative feelings. Work out! Get the stress and frustrations out.

Do some light cardio, some yoga or go swimming. Move vigorously for a little while. Work in the garden, plant something. Harvest if possible. Remove the brush, the sticks, the waste and the weeds. Get into the earth. Do some laboring. It changes how you feel.

When you move your body and breath differently you release different hormones. You change how you feel. You think differently. You won’t remain the same if you do some new and different things. You remain the same doing what you always do. Get this?

Allow yourself to notice different things. Get your head out of the rectal canal and notice your surroundings. Get outside your head for a bit AND get outside. Think and feel differently. Do some new, positive things and you will transform how you feel. Change your thoughts and you transform your life. Celebrate being outdoors. Celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes
