“Setting goals is NOT the first step in turning the invisible to the visible as some purport.  Goals are one thing. Knowing your Definite Chief Purpose is another. Goals are a subset of purpose. It is more correct to say it begins with a decision within one’s imagination.

It begins with an idea. One then decides, or intends, to create, make happen or bring about. Feel it! One feels the idea so strongly it becomes a white-hot obsession. From this feeling you develop the certainty you will do this. You must! So, you do. The steps follow.

Setting goals falls into the planning stage and comes later. A goal is a dream with a deadline and specific steps toward its accomplishment. You may have many goals en route to your purpose. But first, you imagine it. Then feel it strongly or obsessively.

Feeling is the most important. I include more on this below. How you feel determines more than what you know. How you feel determines whether you will or not. Learn to manage your mindset and your feelings. Get these working for you FIRST!

In order for you to make it happen you must impress the strong feeling into your subconscious. The way you impress on your subconscious is to live from and assume and feel the feeling of the wish already fulfilled. You program your subconscious this way!

Then, you’ll take the steps to bring it about. Too, many people set goals without the commitment, the dedication, the passion, the obsession, THE FEELINGS, that they must do this no matter what. You must feel compelled and unstoppable FIRST. No just set goals.

It’s first created in the mind and then translated to reality. Putting it down on paper is a great step. You make plans and you’ll adjust your plans all the way along the way to get to your destination. Knowing the destination is more the first step than planning how to get there.

An architect comes up with an idea for a building. The architect then put that idea onto paper. The design for the building becomes very specified or detailed. Then plans are made for assembling resources, financing, workers and materials to begin construction. Dates set.

Schedules are made. Process begins. Adjustments made along the way to completion. When did it first begin? It began as an idea. A decision or intention was made to make it tangible. Designs and plans made. These carried out and adjusted to completion.

A goal may have been to complete the foundation by a particular date. Then the building. Then the interior. Then the interior decorating. Steps along the way to completion. Want to create a teacup. It’s a similar process. A car, a social media group, etc.

Imagine it, or as Napoleon Hill said, ‘If you can conceive it and believe it you can achieve it.’ First you must conceive it. Then the work is to bring yourself to believe you can and will accomplish it no matter what circumstances or hardships come your way.

‘That which you feel yourself to be, you are. And you are given that which you are. So, assume the feeling that would be yours were you already in possession of your wish and your wish must be realized. So, live in the feeling of being the one you want to be and that you shall be.’

AND ‘Make your future dream a present fact by assuming the feeling of the wish fulfilled.’ Neville Goddard. Decide to do it and follow through. Make plans, Make adjustments. See it through to the end. Feel it as if you already have it and you shall have it.

Impress the strong obsessive feelings into your subconscious. When your subconscious gets it, it will do the work necessary to bring it about. Learn this process and you can transform your life. I can absolutely help you with this process. Get this. It’s important.

Goal setting without the right subconscious work is pointless. It doesn’t work well because they haven’t impressed the GOAL or WISH into the subconscious. That’s why people set goals and resolutions and make promises they don’t keep. Have you?
