“My recent post discussed keeping one’s word and how it felt like being punched when someone breaks their word with you. Your word should be law. So, what to do when you have been let down?  How might you respond? There are some things to consider.

Remember the notion: ‘Fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me.’ If this happens frequently to you, by one person or multiple persons, there is a lesson in it for you. You might want to set some boundaries and lessen the chances of it reoccurring. Ya know.

In other words, stop putting your trust in the person. Cut them loose, let them go. How you do it is important. Be respectful to them. Say, ‘thanks, it is not working out.’ Move on. Forgive yourself, so you can move on. Forgive them. Don’t retaliate. Let it all go. Release it.

When You Stop It Being A Problem You Can Easily Move Forward

Don’t blame the other person or yourself. Move forward. When it comes to a replacement, vet the person/s and set guidelines for working together. Correct the mistakes you made in your past. Perhaps, set a trial period for working together. Don’t be gullible.

Remember the saying: ‘Make mistakes. Just don’t make the same mistake more than once. Make new mistakes.’ Life provides many opportunities to learn and grow. The people we encounter on this journey benefit us even when it doesn’t appear that they do.

Attempt to preserve the relationship while not furthering the issues. Communicate respectfully, as best you are able. If you break your word to yourself the same principles apply. Stop making the same mistake more than once. Keep in mind these two more principles.

Release – Let Go – Forgive – Learn – Respect – Be Free – Evolve

‘Doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different result is the definition of insanity.’ ‘If you want your life to change you must change things in your life.’ Get it. Moving forward means knowing your destination. Look in the direction you want to travel.

And lastly, keep this notion in mind. ‘If what you are doing isn’t working, do anything else.’ Stop perpetuating the problem. Release the problem. Release the person. Forgive, let it go. Learn from it.  Move forward step by step. Enjoy the journey! How you travel is completely up to you. Your choice whether you love it or hate it. I suggest you learn to celebrate everything!” Rex Sikes

“Mind Design is a game changer! It is the missing link between LOA, NLP, Hypnosis, Meditation, EFT & DHE. The support and feedback in the training is like nothing I’ve ever experienced before in 14 years of formal practice and 26 years of personal practice. You owe it to yourself and those you care about to look into this training!!” Tim Shay, Musician, Philidelphia, PA
