“Many of us don’t wake up, or even notice much about ourselves, until in crisis. It seems it takes much to get our attention. We need to be shaken awake. That is because we are conditioned and run on automatically, habitually, until the apple cart is overturned.
Then, once everything is messed up, and we don’t have a program to run, we begin to notice we don’t have a program. Sometimes it’s as if the floor has fallen away and we are in free fall. Everything is messed up. While this sucks it is also ripe with opportunity. It’s how we grow.
We get knocked down and have to find another way to think, feel, act and be. We get broken to pieces and have to re-assemble. It would suck worse if we reassemble the old way. Right then, this moment everything can be new. It can be scary. It is unknown BUT it is opportune. We learn new ways if we only will pay attention. We grow and we evolve through crisis.
