“Do you struggle to change? Most do. When we attempt to make a change all of our conditioned programming rises up to keep us the same. It is a defensive measure. It’s not bad. It just seems bad to us, because we want to change. When we do, we encounter old habits.

The fear, the doubts, the worry arises to keep us from making the new adjustments. If you want to change then you must let go of these, ignore these or eliminate them, and pursue the new way of thinking, feeling and behaving. You can’t do the old and get new.

The difficulty most have is they continue to affirm the old. They give it energy and attention. You must stop that. You must affirm what you want, the new, instead of reinforcing the old. Unless it is the old that you want. Get it? You must change what you pay attention to.

You Are Where Your Thoughts Brought You 

Decide how it will be. Then make it happen. Will it. Create it. If you were making a clay sculpture you would imagine what you want and then fashion it. You would sculpt it. You would do it with intention. Do you understand this? You would make the sculpture happen.

If you wanted to make a chair you would design the chair. Plan it out. Gather the materials. Then you would make the pieces and assemble it. You make the chair. Creating your best life and designing your mind is the same. You decide what you want and create it. Get it?

Set intentions for what you want. Then act to bring them about. Use Directed Questions™ and affirmations to affirm what it is you want to move toward and what you want to create. Persist in what you want. Ignore and let go of the old. Withdraw your attention. Get it?

The More You Do The More You Are Capable Of Doing

Deprive the old of energy. Starve it. It will rear up. Let it and let it go. Don’t entertain it. It is difficult at first, but not impossible. You may have to shift away from it many times. You may have to ‘cancel’ the negative thoughts and feelings. Opt out of the old and into the new.

You’re already good at the old ways. Whether the old is good or not so good, you’ve mastered the old habits. To master the new means you’ll encounter doubts, fears, resistance, procrastination, excuses and blames as your old programs attempt to keep you the same.

Change brings out doubts and fears. Limiting beliefs rear their head. Notice it and go beyond it. Shift from the less than glorious to the glorious. Awareness is the key. Notice it. Own your awareness. Play with it. Play with changing the pattern. Stay with it. Don’t quit!

Energy Flows Where Attention Goes 

Persist until the new behaviors are yours. When you do this correctly, consistently, for long enough, you will develop new, automatic, reliable, supportive habits that serve you. Get it? If it is something you want to do, it’s always up to you, and only you, to make it happen. Enjoy, play, have fun evolving, changing and growing by considering it all a blessing!
